These ultra-thin, flexible OLED panels are supported by Samsung's UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass), allowing for crease-free folding and vibrant visuals.

 2. Hinge System

  • Reinforced Flex Hinge 3.0 mechanism.

  • New "zero-gap" folding design eliminates visible creases.

  • Built to handle over 400,000 folds without wear.

The hinge also houses motion dampers and mechanical shock-absorbers for smooth, sturdy operation.

3. Battery Modules

  • Z Fold7: Dual-cell battery – total 4,400 mAh

  • Z Flip7: Dual-cell battery – total 4,300 mAh

The two battery cells are split between each half of the phone and intelligently managed for balanced power delivery and efficient charging.

4. Processor & Motherboard

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Elite for Galaxy or Exynos 2500 (in some regions)

  • 3nm architecture with integrated AI engine for Galaxy AI features

  • Advanced cooling system with graphite layers and vapour chamber

The main logic board is compact and layered to fit within the thin chassis, with RAM and storage chips stacked for space efficiency.

 5. Camera Units

  • Fold7 Rear Cameras:

    • 200 MP Main Sensor

    • 12 MP Ultra-Wide

    • 10 MP Telephoto with 3x–10x zoom

  • Flip7: up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 Storage, 12 GB RAM

All chips are soldered directly onto the PCB using high-density BGA packaging.

 9. Galaxy AI Integration

  • AI-assisted multitasking and camera tools

  • Real-time call translation

  • Note summary, object erase, wallpaper generation

Galaxy AI is powered by onboard NPU (Neural Processing Unit) and integrated software layers.

10. Protection & Build

  • IP48-rated: water and dust resistance

  • Gorilla Glass Armor protection

  • Ceramic or Titanium frame options (Fold7)

The phones are designed to survive real-world use without compromising on design.
