A new Pixel Era! Google Pixel 10 and 10 Pro are here. Powered by Tensor G5
Tensor G5: The Heart of the New Pixel
The central innovation powering the entire Pixel 10 series is the all-new Tensor G5 chipset. This is Google's first truly in-house designed chip, developed from the ground up and built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 3nm process. This marks a significant departure from previous generations, which were based on Samsung's Exynos architecture.
The Tensor G5 delivers a massive leap in performance and power efficiency. Google claims it offers up to a 36% boost in performance over the Tensor G4 and features significantly improved thermal management. Its primary focus is on an "AI-First" architecture, making on-device machine learning tasks—such as real-time language translation, advanced photography features, and AI-powered voice commands—faster and more efficient than ever before.
Pixel 10 & Pixel 10 Pro: Design, Displays, and Cameras
The Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro maintain Google's iconic design language, featuring the distinctive horizontal camera bar. Both phones boast premium finishes and robust durability, with the entire lineup protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Pixel 10: Features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of an impressive 3,000 nits. Its triple-camera system includes a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens.
Pixel 10 Pro: Comes with a larger 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen, also featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and the same stunning 3,000-nit peak brightness. Its camera setup is even more powerful, with a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto lens that offers a 5x optical zoom and an incredible 100x Super Res Zoom.
A new AI feature called "Camera Coach" provides users with real-time tips and guidance, helping anyone capture professional-quality photos and videos effortlessly. Another notable software addition, "Magic Q," learns user habits to proactively suggest apps, adjust settings, and provide timely reminders.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold: A New Contender in the Foldable Market
Google has also introduced the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, a book-style foldable device with a redesigned, smoother hinge and a larger, brighter outer display. Powered by the Tensor G5, this foldable smartphone is a serious competitor in the foldable space. Its advanced design and software integration are poised to offer a seamless and versatile user experience. The device also boasts an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, a significant durability upgrade for a foldable phone.
Pixel Watch 3 and New Accessories
The event also highlighted the next generation of Google's wearables with the Pixel Watch 3. Available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, it is powered by a new Qualcomm SW5100 chipset, delivering improved performance and an extended battery life of up to 36 hours. The watch features an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) chip, enabling automatic unlocking of nearby Pixel devices.
Additionally, Google unveiled a new suite of "Pixelsnap" magnetic accessories. Similar to Apple's MagSafe, this system uses magnets to attach accessories to the phone's back and supports Qi2 wireless charging, making power delivery more convenient than ever.

The new Pixel 10 series is competitively priced, positioning it to compete directly with other flagship devices.
